IMPACT SUNDAY

This week was supposed to be our “IMPACT Sunday” where we gather around our community to serve organizations and individuals with our time, talent, and treasure. But as with most things during this time our “regularly scheduled programming” has been disrupted. As an alternative, Paul Knapp interviewed one of our IMPACT partners, Andrew Robinson from MOSAIC to learn more about their mission, vision, and values, as well as learn how we can get even more involved in the ways that they are serving the community.

If you are looking for new music during this season, Paul suggests you check out the band “Atlas Genius.” Their upbeat, new age sound is fun, inspiring, and family-friendly. Also, if you’re sick of what Netflix has to offer, check out the movies “Stranger than Fiction” and “Perks of Being a Wallflower.” Both films are sure to be thought-provoking and may spark great conversations with your family or community group.  They are available for rent on YouTube, amazon prime, or iTunes.  Well worth the $3.99!

OUR EYES ARE ON YOU

What do we do now? That’s the questions we keep asking, right?

What do we do now that my kids are home, my job looks different, we can’t go out to eat, and we can’t find any toilet paper? This week in our first ever “podcast-only” morning, Paul Knapp asked this question and contemplated what it looks like to move forward in our new shared circumstance.

ARE YOU SURE?

Have you ever wondered why things are the way they are? Have you been frustrated by the answer you got? How can we have faith that everything is going to work out when there are so many parts of life that just don’t seem to make sense?

This Sunday at the Gathering Paul Knapp picked up where Mike Gathright left off.  He continued our exploration of how the complications and paradoxes that make up the human condition find their proper place in the life of faith.

THE COMPLICATION OF FEAR

In our real everyday lives we all experience all kinds of feelings and drives that might at first seem mutually incompatible to the life of faith.

People!  Sheesh.  People are the best and the hardest part of life. Why is that?

This Sunday morning at Storyline's Gathering Mike Gathright continued our exploration of how all of the complications and paradoxes that make up the human condition find their proper place in the life of faith.
